TR-
1/192 resolution
M50-
480 ppq resolution
What does this mean...? Also, is there any real difference between the TR and the M50's sequencer? |

The M50 sequencer is the one of the M3 (at least, the one before Xpanded expansion :p ). So it is better than the TR one, and really easier to work with, because of the large touch screen.
I don't know how the improved resolution can really affect your recording, anyway, it's good to know that it is improved and it will follow our "virtuosistic playing" without doubts. _________________ Kurzweil PC361

Higher resolution means more finite accuracy in the feel of the reproduction of your playing. More subtle timing differerences can be captured. Consider it more accurate.
As for the comparison:
The M50 has more Insert effects for mixing (5 versus 1)
It has an Total effect with selectable algorithms
It has 3-band EQ per track
It has an advanced Tone Adjust function for tweaking your sounds in the mix
the basic recording and editing functions are the same, as is the Cue List, etc. But the larger display will make it much more friendly to work with. If I forget anything I';ll be back!

Its crazy, because being a TR user for three years now...I would even know what to do with 5FXS. |

Resolution is 1/192.
Keys are Yamaha keys, found on all Tritons except Le and TR, T3, Trinity... |
