I just called Korg customer support. They know nothing about this offer and referred me to another company to order replacements (which I have to pay for). Hmmmm...guess I'm too late.BillW wrote:I'm looking at a used M3-73 for sale locally that looks like the majority of the buttons on the right side have faded pretty badly. Has anybody in the US contacted Korg recently and received new buttons? I don't want to buy this thing if I can't get them replaced.
Thanks,
Bill
Can you pass along the contact information for the company?BillW wrote:I just called Korg customer support. They know nothing about this offer and referred me to another company to order replacements (which I have to pay for). Hmmmm...guess I'm too late.
I just called the "Contact Us" numbers on the Korg.com website:McHale wrote:you should post that (and warn her that others will be calling) because the rest of the tech support seem to be clueless. Korg UK are replacing all the buttons on defective units.
Ah yes...parts is parts. I've dealt with them many times. But I have yet to see a parts list for the M3, which is why I asked who the dealer was.BillW wrote:Customer support wasn't familiar with that so they gave me another phone number to an independent Korg parts dealer and said I'd have to order/pay for them (partsisparts.net).
Yes, we're still offering replacements. Sorry you got misinformed, please email support@korgusa.com and we'll take care of you.
