Hi guys,
first of all please forgive my english. I bought an sv1-73 a few days ago and already love it, but there's something that puzzles me. When I turn on the Amp Model section the sound of the voice, obviously, changes; but here's what happens with some voices: if I switch Amp Model and then return on the previous Amp Model, in that same Amp Model there's a totally different sound or a different drive level. This happens only with the Amp Models "ready" in the presets: for example, the preset of a clavi has an Amp Model 1 "ready" but off; I turn on the Amp section and find a sound, then if I switch to Amp 2 and return to the "presetted" Amp 1 I find a totally different sound or (more often) a different drive level. Reset didn't change a thing. Don't know what to do: do you think I should send it back and replace it? Some of the "strange" sounds are not so bad... |

Soooo, not exactly a talkative lot here, right? I'll try to be more specific: on sound Organ 6 there's an amp model already "loaded": Amp 2, with drive level 1. If I switch on Organ 6 and play I find a certain sound. THEN, if I switch to Amp 3 and re-switch to Amp 2, the sound is completely different (and also drive level change from 1 to 2... turning it to 1 doesn't give me the "first" sound): I mean it's still Organ 6, but with a different effect. The "re-switch" version seems to me to be more authentic, but also the "first" version is not bad (smoother, in a way). This happens on another couple of sounds, while drive level changes on more sounds if I do the switch-and-re-switch thing, but with no effect on the sound: what happens is that the "loaded" drive level seems to read wrong, then if I switch and re-switch I see what seems to be the right drive level.
I can live with that, but I'd like to know if it's a common problem, or also if can be fixed with some editing via computer.
OS version (no upload made) is 1.3
Anything? Anyone? |

Yay! Finally, no more "I do like the sounds of your sv1: both of them"!
Only thing is, Easter eggs here seem to be the non-hidden ones... Wait a minute, that's a new topic! "Defective Easter Bunny on SV1". |
