Hi guys
I wonder if one of you would kindly try this for me and let me know the result:-
Tonight, I was playing styles and using the VH ( MIC ON and Harmony ON) - what I had never noticed before was this...
....if I turn the harmony volume knob completely to the left I can still hear the harmony - I always thought that it would have turned the harmony volume to zero.
Many thanks

MIC ON and Harmony ON
I turned the harmony to zero and there is no harmony ,,, but if you turn up the ( delay - reverb )all the way up you will here harmony,,so you must have your reverb up high ,
so pete try the same ,, harmony to zero and turn up the reverb ,
let us know..

Pete, I'll give that a shot today on the gig. Interested to see if it happens on my 3x.
My own gripe is that no matter what, I can't get rid of the lead voice when I want only the harmonies to come through. I think I've tried everything. _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

Thanks Giner - think I remember something similar when I had my PA3X...
Cheers

Hi duby
Thanks - that was it!!!!
I had not noticed this before and just hoped my PA4X didn't have a problem.
When rehearsing last night, I had the "reverb" up a little higher than usual and in a quiet moment noticed the harmonies etc....
Thanks again - I can sleep peacefully now

Just as an addendum then, Pete. I tried the same thing as you, and turning the harmony volume fully left did indeed remove the harmonies.
Glad you got sorted, anyway.
Best regards, Giner _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

Regarding the muting of the lead voice in Global you have mute lead voice and by checking that you harmony only. My own setup when using the VH is to use a mic splitter and the mic is plugged into the splitter and send back into the Pa4x and then direct into my desk. This allows quick independent control of both the stereo VH routed to the aux outs and also the discreet mic channel and all of which can have their own outboard effects and EQ. _________________ Yamaha S90ES, Korg Triton Pro, EXB Moss, Roland XV5080, Korg EX8000, Korg Pa4x 76, Korg Kronos 88, Crumar MOJO, Logic Pro X, V Collection, Novation SL61,Vienna, Korg Pa4x , EC-5, Vienna, Arturia V Collection, Roland SC88 Pro, Roland D110, Alesis SR16, Alesis D4 |
