My pa1x pro is stuck on the start Loading resourcesn screen. I made a mistake, I tried to load a friend's backup resources file, but my OS is 2.50 his was 3.01. Now nothing works, no sounds, not even the led lights on the buttons.
I was thinking to try to somehow get the OS 3.01 on it and aee if the will cgange things. But don't have a floppy drive to create the disks. Also not sure if will boot from them. PLease help!! |

Yes, a full re-installation of OS would be best to try first.
However, it is going to be a little difficult to figure out how much actually was "loaded" from that BKP file.
Your PA1X may think it's either a 3.1 or a 2.5 (i.e. having a mix).
So it may also be worth trying to reload 2.5 and then upgrade to 3 etc...
Not promising that any of this will work.
Now, your first serious problem is the diskettes.... you can purchase a USB Diskette drive for a few dollars on e-bay |
All the best
