Boss F5-5U foot switch

Morning All

I have recently purchased a BOSS F5-5U to use as a programme changer on my Triton Extreme. unfortunatly I cant get it to work even though I've read the instructions a number of times.

Both switch and cable are OK as it works with my 01/WFD,

Any help appreciated
