am i wasting my money or do you think it will worth the change?
if not
which exb pcm's can i buy to avoid the exchange and to
continue to appreciate my 61 without be sad for the extreme
sounds missing on my classic?

I would highly recommend the Extreme.
The only bit of advice I will give you is go and play one for yourself and you will see why the Extreme is worth the plunge.
The COMBI sounds will have you writing new songs for years on end.
Check it out, you won’t be sorry.
