I have been reading the feedback from the Pa5x users so far and seems very disappointing. We have been waiting long time for the 5x and Korg has come up with a very primitive level product. The testers were busy on partying with the keyboard and not testing the advance in depth functions of the keyboard before release. I pre ordered one and now thinking of keeping my Pa4x which is serving me for the past 7 years with the way I want. I cant figure out why Korg has not released the reference manual so far. They should have done their home work before releasing the product. Very disappointing from a highly reputed company and on a flagship release. _________________ Korg Pa4X, KRONOS 2 LS, Roland Fantom 6, Yamaha PSR SX 900, Integra 7, Roland TD 50x Module, Mac Pro Intel Xeon, RME fireface 802, Audient ASP800, Cubase 12 Pro; |

Likewise, I have been following the comments from ‘bleeding edge’ users who have purchased the Pa5X. And I am thankful that over time their feedback will lead to a great product which I will eventually step up to.
For now though, the Pa4X does everything I need and I will probably keep using it till it eventually dies.

You really need to view this keyboard from a LONG TERM perspective. Korg has re-designed the architecture and the user interface. There is a natural honeymoon process with an early release. Based on past history, Korg will release many OS updates/upgrades and fine tune this instrument.
In the meantime, you can be enjoying and learning the instrument. The demos and the styles sound amazing. I love the sound fidelity of the Kronos and if they have used the same sound engine in the Pa5x, this will sound amazing in person as well.
Just be patient and give it time. _________________ Pa5x, Yamaha Genos, ForeScore |
