|
|
I have a problem with pa5x. when I export a daw midi file and want to import it into pa5x, it won't read it. It is not an error in the midi file because Pa4x reads it and creates a style. |

then you didn't set the correct midi channels (9 till 16) for the parts, or you have double parts with the same midi channel.
Both things aren't allowed on a korg pa5x and it wont import. |

Midi type 0
Bas chanel 9
Drum - 10
Percussion - 11
Acc1 - 12
Acc2 - 13
Acc3 - 14
Acc4 - 15
Acc5 - 16
If the midi is wrong, pa4x wouldn't read it either |

This is not criteria of required format in Pa5X , the same happened between Pa3X-Pa4X in the past , Qui wrote you the obvious.
Check the exported mid file in Daw , follow the same format/markers/meta and architecture and re-import it in Pa5X. _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer

I'm experimenting with this now, but the manual is vague about what to do next after selecting MIDI file. What button to press? If I hit exit, it backs me out. But what button to press to say "ok" I want to load that MIDI into style editor? |
