On the german Korg site several cool magazines from Korg can be read online (or ordered by post).

However, since my german is not that good (I can read it but not fluently), I wonder if there also is an English version for these magazines.

The german link is:

korg used to have English magazines about 15 years ago. Haven't seen anything like them in a long time.

Yeah, I think there was one called "Pro Korg" magazine. But it has been more than a few years since it was around. Sad

I used to receive Korg Magazine from Korg UK until about three or four years ago.

There's an excuse for an e-magazine waiting to happen. I know a few people who may be interested!

I think that just about everyone here would be interested. On another note. I was on the Korghaven site and it has a list of all of the people that have registered their serial number for their Kronos. Only the people that have actually been on the site of course.
I find it strange that the number of people that have done this to be a rather small percentage of all the Kronos' out there. From this I get that there are a lot of people who have Kronos' and aren't on this site.
There have been at least a couple of thousand keyboards sold now but I know that most of the owners are not here. I'm from Canada and at my local store, I was one of 5 who ordered a Kronos but I have yet to see 5 people from Toronto here.
This begs the question. Is it really feasible to run an e-zine purely dedicated to the Kronos when so few owners are even bothering to go on-line and see what's up?
It kind of makes me sad in that I can't find a local Kronos player to commiserate with.

I have the same experience with PCG Tools, I think for everyone there is at least one useful feature and there are now over 400 people having requested the application.

Now of course 400 is not much, but considering my application works for Kronos, Oasys, M3, M50, all Triton series and Karma there must be probably 10K people having such an instrument; maybe some percentage are not interested because it does not run on a Mac.

So my assumption is that indeed only a (small) percentage tries to find more information online.

Hi Jeremy

I live about 60 miles to the west of you. Not really close enough for commiseration though, particularly as I don't drive anywhere much any more.

You may mean "Pro View":

That one is interesting ...

I know when I was young(er), I used to collect all kind of advertisement folders of synths (starting from the Korg M1). I read them like a thousand times before I really could afford my own synth.

Hi Cpilot. It might even be more than 60 miles. I'm right on the border of North York and Scarboro. Who knows. My parents used to live in Beamsville and I'm trying to bring my Mother back from out west to stay at the old folks home there. If I'm successful I would be near your neck of the woods. Who knows, eh?
