time signature issues

Post by waitominute »

Hi!

I'm quite new to my Microsampler, so forgive me if the answer to this question is obvious. I can't figure out how to change the time signature of the metronome/pattern sequencer. I would like to record patterns in 6/8.

The manual doesn't seem to address this issue as far as I can tell.

Thanks!

It not in the manual because it's not part of the microsampler. ALl you have to do is the math involved and set the bar length to the correct amount

hey electrolegs, waitominute is talking about the time signature (4/4, 3/4, 6/8, etc) NOT the bar length. has anyone figured out how to change the time signature? i don't think it can be done, does it only record 4/4 patternn sequences?

The metronome will only count 1,2,3,4. But, like electrolegs suggests, if you adjust the bar length and ignore the "ding" you can record in whatever time signature you wish. 3 x 4 = 4 x 3. Dig?
