problems after upgrade 1.31

Made a verified iso upgrade cd.

After upgrading about 20 combi's from exs3 do not sound at all.

for instance u-g043, u-g044,u-g045, u-g046, u-g047,u-g058, u-g060 and u-g061 from the exs3 module do have no sound anymore.

A few others do not sound like it has to.


From the program library of exs3 all 128 patches are quit and do not make any sound now.

The exs3 was installed by korg benelux representative and the iso update worked without any problem, was verified and the update was started from cd-in oasys out and later switching on.

Update oke was reported.

Before the upgrade and after installation of the exs3 two weeks ago by my korg benelux representative is did not have any problem.

Played a little more with the exs3 combi's, its now about 20 patches make sound the other about 40 combi's do not make any sound including the whole program library exs3 not any patch sounds.


As far as i can see now the whole exs3 installation is corrupted.

I did not found severe problems in the other material, at least till this moment. I will further investigate.

I did try to load the exs3.pcg file from the factory directory without result.

Exs3, lac1,mod7 exb-di installed and the standard oasys material



What now ??? korg

unload esx3 samples (in global mode) then reload them, just to see.

Indeed the sample setup was overwritten.

The exs3 Brass and woodwind was not activated as it was before the update .

Problem solved.

This is probably for everyone.
Had the same problem but had checked directly in the Global
Anashwaran

I had the same thing happen.

When you up date to 1.3.1 the default is not to load EXs3. You have to go in and change that.
