K49 installation error on xp

Post by machineforest »

HI everybody,

I've just bought a K49 keyboard and I've got a problem during the installation. I've got the windows XP pro with service pack 2 on my laptop. I've already read all the installation guides and prescriptions about it (signed drivers bla bla) I tried the AC adapter, and no way... When I put on the keyboard (on USB), the device is recognized by the computer but the installation doesn't happen automatically (not like on my parent's computer, it works perfectly). That means the keyboard is ok. The keyboard is not recognised in control panel->audio->. It doesn't appear on the damned list! The message is "ERROR: No device is plugged in". And it is f*ck*ng plugged!

Can someone help me??

Thanks.
