Had my TE for about 2 years, this problem happened for the first time right before a show recently, when I powered on the keyboard wasn't in standard tuning, it was flat, and not by a semitone or anything, just flat. I used the global transposition edit to dial in a few cents higher to match the rest of the band, and it worked for the gig. Since then, though, it seems to have gotten worse. Today it went flat while I was playing, not even right after turning on power, but the pitch actually fluctuated multiple times as I played.
Has anyone ever encountered this or has a suggestion? It's spill-free, as far as I know, hasn't been dropped or anything. Since the problem worsened over time, it sounded like it could be a battery I don't know about? Since there was a sign of decay? Lemme know, fellas, some advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure it is not the rest of the band that is going out of tune, and they are using a faulty tuner?
Never heard of this issue before. As it is electronic, I would have thought it would be difficult for it to go out of tune!

Could it be a faulty x-y stick?
What you could do, is try recording a sequence, move the stick to the left, and to the right, and let it go back to the centre. Then see the last CC value written to the track. If it is anything other than 0, then you may have a faulty stick.

hmmm. good suggestions you guys thanks, i'm still looking into things here. (ps, yes the band was in tune...) I've come across another post where a user suggested that fluctuations in the power supply could be to blame and that a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) unit could fix. not a cheap fix, though. and i'm wondering why it was never a problem before in my rehearsal space, and now it is. doesn't seem consistent. thoughts? Thanks to all!

Hi, everyone:
I'm a trinity owner for more than ten years, so yesterday, at rehearsal with my band my trinity (second or n-th hand) went out of tune, and pressing the ribbond put the highest value at pitch bending.
So, i took a screwdriver, open the trinity and i encounter that one wire at x-potentiometer was unsoldered (this trinity was repaired so much times, it seems). Because i opened a couple of times, i noticed that this wire is soldered and not at the normal connector.
Simply (at that time), took a solder gun and put the wire in place, the pitch bend work again. But at weekend i'll put the wire in its connector.
Hope this help.
Saludos desde Santiago de Chile.
