Hey, I'm looking for an affordable workstation ($1000 range) with sampling abilities and multitracking etc.
I like the TR because I think it's lighter weight than the Fantom or the Fusion. I like that you can trigger midi sequences with a portion of the keyboard. This seems like it could replace my yamaha rm1x which has crappy sounds, but a nice sequencer. How is the sampling option on it? Can I form my own sounds out of samples, or does it just play them back straight/pitch them etc? Like can I record a grand piano sound and form it into a nice timbre?
Has anyone used a Fusion? This seems like a wonderful all in one machine with sequencer, sampling, and even multitrack audio. I would like to know how it compares to the TR in other respects.
And the Fantom, it can sample and it's upgradeable to have multitrack audio, but how does the low grade fantom compare to the TR?
If anyone can tell me what they like about any of these, and what they felt were lacking, that would be great. Thanks!
Triton TR vs Fantom Xa vs Alesis Fusion vs ???

Motif ES and you have the KING OF ALL, dont throw 1000$ for toys like LE
(when compared to ES) where even some of the higher TRITONs are still TOYS
compared to it. And you can find it for 1000 or probably less.
