Hi Asena. That sax sounds very nice . Can you do the same again but strip out the reverb and is there some chorusing on that sax ? I just want to hear the same demo again claen without the effects. By the way it is very clear that you are a pro user. How good are you at making styles ?

Hi Asena .
Like playing I (personally) liked the SAX... But like sonic (sounding) I think the factory has better SAXs .

I think Asena has done a good job ,he has given Korg a soft tenor modern sax -which is missing at the moment on Korg keyboards ,as is the Bluesy Rock sax of which Yamaha is still in the lead .
If anyone can do better , put your samples on the website for others ,as what Asena has done. so once again WELL DONE Asena

My friend it,s your opnion, It,s ok to LIKE & not like the sound , I,m Not KORG, I,m A musician that heave 1000 sounds for KORG that,s sound much better for me, and of course some other People here, But i heave more samples, That i spended 4 days or more, i,m keeping this sounds only for my music making and some of the friends i heave from here and there.!Sory
But sure i got more sounds, I heave 2 SAX sounds that are almoust 25 MB , and MAAAAN thats the best i ever heard on a Synth/KB!

Hi Asena .
It is good for us to have THE BEST SOUNDS , but those are only for us . If all of us will have the same sounds then we'll lost our EGO . People
has same things on them (head , hands ....) but we all are different and by me that is the best of people .... I like to say and hear opinion of people .
I hope you did understand what I wanted to tell ....
By the way - I am sound an engineer ...

Do as you like your sound and music .
Rule of my life is : Don't collect - Make music !!!

Where I mean : don't collect stuff and sounds just to have those , but have those to make music for people...

Now people is not as it used to be twenty years ago . Now all know what is wrong , why is wrong , where is wrong and how is wrong ... When you say , you want the KORG to be the best and make his KB better I agree whit you but remember that years ago we couldn't do that , that we do now ... And of course KORG time after time becomes better and better ...
For now is enough ...

Yea, now is enough ... SURE for the bugs!

Ok , many times i think the users of this KB whit out better knowladge says BUG there BUG on that, But its only couse for they are loadind stuff from the net maded on PA1X and 80 Series, OR converted files that is not acceptable from PA2X.
So this things are not included when i say BUG!
(I CANT START MY PA2X Couse i cant find the One button is that a BUG)

LIKA, , I heave lot of sound and i use many of them , in many difrend projects!Moustly Samples.
I never say that KORG is a CRAP!
20 years a go there was not so many functions, not even 1 MB of RAM.
I had Ensoniq EPS 16 PLUS, 2 MB RAM MAX!
But there was so many great sounds and FX, Than ASR 10 16 MB RAM, I
was like

And AKAI, And EMUsystems, And, KORG, And more.
The problem appears when we heave more Functions!
I realy love my KB, And i enjoy evry second!
THE PROBLEM IS if/and when IT FREEZE ON THE STAGE , i got trubbels!
SO I REALY REALY HOPE THE NEW OS WILL MAKE THIS BETTER.
Otherwaise i love the KB and i respect the enginiers.

Hi Asena,
obviously you're into creating sounds ( I'm not , I'm just interested in doing a few drum loops), but just out of interest have you ever used soundfonts as as the wav sample for a pa sound??
I know korg doesn't load soundfonts, but neither does my sd1, yet I managed to work my way around it.

Hi Asena,
very kind of you to offer but I don't have anything particular in mind. My soundfonts aren't loops, they're individual instruments like piano's, strings , synth sounds even some M1 & Matrix sounds etc.
What I was wondering, have you ever used soundfonts as a source of wav files for the pa800/2x or is there enough stuff readily available for free on the net anyway.
I collected a heap of them when I was using soundfonts as a soundsource for some of my music programs.
I only mentioned it , just in case you ever needed additional resources for creating your PA2X sounds. A lot of the soundfonts I collected were free on the net.

The only thing I'll probably end up doing myself as far using the sample section on my PA800 is, use some of my Band in a Box real drum audio loops, ie cut them up & create groove files from some of them. Hard part is trying to pick which ones will be of any use, there's just so many of them.

Once I get guitar mode figured out, i'll go back to fiddling round with the audio loops. This keyboards so much fun.

I did not find some of the sounds great on the PA2X, Like Pan Flute, But now i heave converted from SF2, And the sound is almoust like REAL player, Just tweak and use in your music making!

when I get round to trying to do some sounds, I'll get back to . Thank you for the offer.
As for BIAB, it doesn't have sounds of it's own for the style tracks of the songs, your PA supplies the sounds for guitar , piano, strings etc.

What it does have is the choice of audio drum tracks or midi drum tracks.
The "Real Drums" ( audio drum tracks) would only be of use as groove files for the PA's. I did a bit of experimenting with them a while back.

There's literally gigabytes of them. Unfortunately they're one great big long audio file which would need to be cut up into smaller files.
I'd have to try & remember what I did. I also tried the groove function with some loops from a Drums on Demand CD rom. They're easier to do because they come as a 1 bar loop wheras the BIAB audio loops are anything up to 64 bars long & fairly repetative.
From memory, I think I ended up processing them thru Powertracks 12 rather than Band in a Box.
