Karma to Midi Out with Local Control Off?

Post by Mixingboard »

When I am working in my DAW (Live) I like to have Local Control Off and use the Oasys as the controller keyboard for my other gear.

Is there a way to get the Karma Module to Midi out to play say a JP-8080 with Local Control off? This way I won't hear the Oasys playing at the same time.

I only get Karma midi out with local control on enabled now.

Yep, that's the way it is, sorry.

In Combi or Seq mode, you can set a timbre to EXT and you won't hear internal Oasys sound.

Otherwise, it's a matter of toggling Local On/Off when you need it. :-(

I just leave local control on, but turn off the the timbre in Combi mode that is associated with the Global Channel (or don't assign any of the timbres to that channel).
