I've noticed that all combis are in 4/4 tempo. I wanted to seq a combi for a 3/4 tempo and noticed that. Are there any 3/4 tempo combis at all, or are they all 4/4? Is there any way to "convert" a 4/4 tempo drum timbre to a 3/4? (I don´t think so, but...)

Hi,
I don't own an Oasys..... yet! However, I've been studying the manual quite a bit and following a lot of the online video tutorials as well as lurking on these forums to pick up more info on it.
What you're asking about is not tempo but time signature. In any event, time signatures can be in 3/4 if I'm reading correctly. You simply set the GE time signature appropriately (if you're using KARMA to 3/4 - see pg. 202 of the operation guide).

Anything copied to the sequencer can be recorded at different time signatures.
The rhythmic parts of the combi will be affected by the new signature.
If you're simply interested in recording non-rhythmic parts at 3/4, use Setup to Record.
Record a few bars, to create data on the midi track.
Use Erase Track, checking All Tracks (to erase 4/4 off the Master Track)
Use Insert Measure to setup the 3/4 time signature.
Keep in mind that you can also retain the 4/4 time signature, and input 3/4 on select tracks.
You can have a mix of time signatures. All of this can be set up from Track Edit.
A combi's default time signature can't be altered in the combi mode, but in the sequencer mode,
you can alter how things are recorded.
Good luck!!
