I just thought it was the coolest thing in the world when I found out how to do it. When I first auditioned the Oasys I was amazed at how the programs sounded. Of course that's outside of sequencer mode with the program specific effects applied. Now I can get that fresh out of the box, as advertised Oasys sound. I am very happy about this. I posted on how to do this in "Oasys Wishlist".
Oh yeah on another non related note the people who rant about the Oasys costing too much are only mad because they can't afford it. I bought mine without having a job, without doing anything illegal, and most importantly with out using credit. I thank God for the Oasys everyday, sometimes it's not a matter of something costing too much it's simply a matter of is it worth enough for you to do what has to be done to go and get it. (bad grammar but you get the point)
Multiple Programs w/effects transfer to sequencer mode!

Just a small addition to your copy-procedure: sometimes the overall-sound of the original programm was very much "caused" by a MFX or TFX. In this case you will have to make a compromise, as you cannot copy each time all the MFX/TFX without sacrificing the previous one. But the method you described is good enough and I used it many times.
