KARO presents dust protection covers for the Korg OASYS
Moderators: Sharp, X-Trade, Pepperpotty, karmathanever
I would like one with the OASYS label on it, as it would then be in keeping with the OASYS theme as such. Call me anally retentive, but the OASYS label looked great on the dust cover. Too many do gooders around, and as for violating Korgs trademark, perhaps legally speaking it does but come on we are all OASYS users in here, and at the end of the day its just a blasted dust cover, not some kind of software that will take away trade from Korg, in fact I would have thought it was good free advertising. Oh well, on that note its all rather petty and pathetic, and perhaps those arguing the legal aspects should get on with making some music on their own OASYS instead....or should we call it a KARO now
Thats enough from me, enough time wasted writing this. I guess I will be getting one with a KARO label now.

Do Gooders?? Good Free advertising?? Your sic!! OASYS does look good and when Korg licenses someone to make a cover it will be a quality one and a nice fit!! FYI, Korg does have a website to sell accessories..so did you stop and think that they may be offering one sometime? Karo obviously didnt check into licensing before printing..or bother to negotiate any license fees? For $53 US shipped, I would think it should have some kind of soft padding or foam underneath...plus a provision made for the LCD screen!!t_tangent wrote:I would like one with the OASYS label on it, as it would then be in keeping with the OASYS theme as such. The OASYS has been out for almost three years now, and Korg has never even hinted about ANY plans to create ANY OASYS branded accessories.sparkie wrote: FYI, Korg does have a website to sell accessories..so did you stop and think that they may be offering one sometime?
Many forumites have requested OASYS logo items, but it appears Korg is not interested.
I must have missed something. Who died and made you king?

Hi EWBR,
LOL, the Mickey & Minnie dust cover would be great. Maybe a little bit of photoshop on that with them playing an OASYS would be even cooler, and surely one wouldnt need a licence for that
Thanks for the 2 new photos on your site with the LCD up too. Its not a 100% fit but should do the job, so thanks.

Martin is right. You want the Korg boys to sit in front of a sewing machines making bloody dust covers lol So far we have no dvd tutorials ( from korg ) and no dust covers - this is a good sign that korg are tooooo busy working on oasys updates for us - as it should beeee
