This collection of demo's is not a representative's of the entire theme of the library. It's nothing more than just a small selection of sounds that focuses on a specific theme. The entire library will have a very wide range of different styles of sounds.

Kind Regards.

Oh, man, just had an awesome audition of these. Using Quicktime, I launched the next mp3 halfway through the previous playing. Amazing. Can you give us some print details, Sharp?

Thanks guys.
I'll post more demo's and details very soon.
Amazing! Your pianos sound great sharp! I look forward to your library.
Thanks.
Just a little information on that, there are actually 2 core sets here. The first is my Piano Evolution library reworked and converted to OASYS format for the first time. You can see by the names of the demo's where I have used this piano.

The second core set is my new 5 layer stereo sampled Piano. It's my pride an joy and I hope to showcase it later this week by using the famous Piano Shoot-out website http://www.purgatorycreek.com/

I'll record the new 5 layer Piano playing back the midi file posted on that website for everyone to compare against.

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

Very Good Sharp :D - superb, actually. The first one reminded me a bit of Vangelis with his Yamaha CS 80!. With Celtic synth 2, you seem to have nailed a sound that is of Enya's "Storms in Africa" (I think)

Thanks

Yeah those Celtic Synth sounds took a ridiculous amount of time to create. Enya seems to go to insane lengths to produce what seem to be simple sounds. Now that it's done I'm very happy with the results. They took way longer than expected, but I think they are very useful.

Hi All.

Here's some more details on “The 5 Layer Piano” which will be found in OASYS Assault.

As the title suggests, it's 5 layers of stereo samples assigned to a single program. So the dynamic response is pretty great. There are over 300 mono (150 stereo) samples to this sound, and it requires 250MB of sample memory to load.

And here's what it sounds like when played back using the midi file from http://www.purgatorycreek.com/

You can use this mp3 file to compare the Piano now against countless libraries on that website.
