Hi,
I am not a MIDI expert, I am lost and need help with a MIDI issue in Logic 8.02. When I move a fader on Oasys a fader on the first MIDI track in Logic moves as well - also pressing Combi, Sequencer, Global buttons makes this fader to jump up and down. The first problem disappears when I uncheck the Local off. The second problem is still present then. Both problems disappear when I uncheck the Control Change in Global/Midi/Midi filter but it is not the solution since for example I can't record damper information then. I use an Edirol UM-1EX midi interface.
Thanks for your help,
Przemek

Suggest you install a MIDI monitor (http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor is a good one) on your Mac and see exactly what is being sent from the Oasis
Hm - I think I've experienced similar issues.
I remember sudden volume-changes to 127 as soon as I changed programms on the Oasys or clicked certain faders in Logic. My first approach was to filter some of the incomming MIDI-signals - resulting in filtering out too much (like dampers, joystick etc.).
However, filtering was my final solution. Experiment with the different MIDI-filtering options on the Logic-project-preferences page for MIDI-signals. Moreover there are some good descriptions on the Karma Lab Forum for how to set up MIDI on Oasys in order to work properly with various sequencers (esp. if you want to use/record Karma as well). Hope this helps.
