In my opinion collecting synths just because korg made them is a waste of money. When i see all them synths stacked up it makes me think people who collect things have a compulsive desire to own something for the sake of owning it.

Please excuse my anger but this just bought it all back.
Hi Syntia,

congrats on your purchase of the Radias! I guess it is a very good addition... and of course I was thinking of it as well some time ago. :-)

Concerning Harmony Central.... forget about that place and some people over there. If there is one thing in my opinion that is for sure, than it is the fact that it is defenitely not worth it to get depressed. If YOU love synthesizers then enjoy it and do not forget that in some cases it is pure jealusy of not having the same passion.

Any reason for posting your opinion twice? I understood it when I read it first and it is your opinion, Synthia does have another.

I didn't mean to post it twice. I think people telling someone who has a room full of synths that another one is a nice addition isonly saying so for the sake of being nice.

... maybe, ... but maybe it is meant as Radias is a nice addition to OASYS.

Give it a rest, Mark. Synthia, or anyone else who happens to be a collector of anything certainly doesn't need to be chastised or put down for their passions. I see you are a newcomer here. Synthia is a veteran member and well respected, not just for her awesome collection. Nevertheless, I didn't post my congratulations just to be nice. I also added the RADIAS-R to my M3-73 which incidentally also houses EXB RADIAS and EXB M256. These compliment my OASYS and a good collection of other synths - Karma, JD800, JD990, V-synth XT, V-synth GT, and a host of other outboard gear. Some of us just like to do these kinds of things - because we can.

Unless you want to be known here as a s**t disturber, I'd start posting more positive and productive comments.
Cheers,
Eric

Hi Synthia,
Another Synth in your collection good for you and I know you will use it to create great music as you have done with all your other Synths over the years.
I do get a little tired of some people on this forum trying to knock others down. All I can say is why? Can't you let Synthia enjoy her new Synth and be pleased for her she is happy with her purchase and I am sure worked hard to be able to buy it.
Keep being creative Synthia and try to ignore the negative people on here there are a lot more possitive replies.

Were Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Chic Chorea, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Isao Tomita, Tangerine Dream, Tony Banks or Jordan Rudes... deluding themselves in acquired their 5th or 10th,..keybaord

Pray tell oh wise one - what's the correct number of keyboards?

And for God's sake - surely Ravel didn't need 16 1st violins when orchestrating Suite 3 (Dawn) fror Daphnis and Chloe; and surely Ligeti's Requim (2001 - A Space Odyssey) should have been possible with one voice - I'm mean - what's with all those people singing at once. And drummers - why so many drums? And a piano - SEVEN octaves - sure they all look the same to me.

Kevin.

PS - Mark - that's called satire. I'm not being literal (its possible you might have though so given your other superficial judgement call up above regarding the inate value, or lack of, in 'numbers of keyboards').

Good work Synthia, V meets R puts me in mind of Kraftwerk in parts.

Do you have a favorite key/s you play in or a particular set of chord sequences that seem to inspire you more than others ? Just wondered..

I agree, but that's not a bad thing.
I've been a fan of the big K, since the Autobahn days.

Very creative, with a nice mix.
Nice work!!
:D
