recording from a kaossillator-newbie!!!

Post by nikk »

Im completley new to the electronic side of music and recently purchased a kaossilator. i was wondering if anyone knew the best way to record onto a mac from it? ive tried connecting it via the line out to the head phone jack on the mac and had no joy. would it work if i use the phone socket on the kaosillator to the computers USB?

I know this is probably a really dumb question so please be nice!

after doing a bit of research ive found out that macs dont have a mic input like p.c's, just a line in...apparently the problems the same when attaching a microphone..... anyone else got any suggestions or tips?
p.s im trying to get it to work with 'garageband' if that makes any difference.

well the headphone output is active so it should be strong enough to plug into the line in

Connect the headphone output of the Kaossilator to the line-in on your Mac.

Make sure the headphone socket volume is turned up!
