Question on Pads...
Beside the excellent pads offered by Sharp a while ago, did Korg develop new pads for the PA 800 and if yes, where can I find them? Also is there a simple "how to make a pad" method available for guys who find the PA user manual from pages 131 to 141 a little obscure? Thanks

Re: Question on Pads...
Hi,
not aware of any additional pads, but they are simple to enough to create.
I experimented with them a while back, mainly using the import midifile
function. I actually used some psr style tracks ( guitar, piano) as my midifile source. Basically I was using a pad to replace the guitar track in the beguine style.
You can also use onboard style tracks to create a pad from .
What sort of pads are you trying to create ie looping or 1 shot? Or are you actually refferring to Groove Pads ( audio drum loop)
best wishes

Pads

I am looking for pads to be used in ballads, unplugged or church music, mainlypiano, guitar and strings. My major problem is that I cannot have my pads transpose, or follow my chord changes. That is why I was hoping for a step by step instruction.

Re: Pads
Hi,
tied up today, i'll try & play around with them tomorrow, & see if I can come up with a step by step. If it's not following your chord changes, probably something wrong in your settings.
They are based on a single chord type?? ie no chord changes within the pad.

Hi Rob,
you don't happen to have a midifile for that tune? Just the arpeggio track would do. Unfortunately I don't think I know the song.
