Get the Karo software now while it's cheap

Post by franzlp »

Hey folk just some info ... you way want to pick up the Karo-Sounds software for the oasys while the Euro is low at 1.35 vs. 1.60 just 2-3 months ago. It's likely the Euro will be going up shortly.

Good timing to make that suggestion -

Karo just today updated all of their acoustic and electric piano packages. Its a major update with (at least) new programs across all pianos, including improvements to velocity sensing and stereo sample panning. There may be new samples as each download is a several hundred megabyte rar file download and actually replaces the original DVD releases. So this update is very significant amount of work on Karo's part and surely completes their pianos. I'll let you know how they sound when installed.

Kevin.

Yep I think it is now version 1.1 that they are shipping out now with. I should be getting them shortly as well as I purchased the bundle at a favorable and lower price considering the lower Euro. I did my Christmas shopping early as I am sure that the Euro will go up as Europe have their bank bailout much better planned out plus the dollar will sink at the end of this month as interest rates are very likely to be cut again.

One thing im not sure about, when i went to the link there are 2 rar files
part 1 and 2 for kgp1.
Do i combine these files or keep them separate because most of the files in the folders look the same.

Yep - that works nicely - if you watch the unpack-info-window you can see how Winrar picks part2 after part1.
I didn't have the time yet to listen to the new stuff though ...
