no sound after loading os 1.6

hey guys

Ummm..
I loaded os 1.6 and the musical resources
but when i tried to play after everthing was
done no sound came. The same thing happened
when i first took it out of the box and turned
it on but i fixed it some how.
Can anyone help me pleassse?

If it is still under warranty, I would get it checked out.... sounds faulty to me, particularly as this happen also before OS 1.6 install....
