kp3 - delay on all effects - how can I fix?
Hello
There is a delay on all the effects on my kp3 and is becoming annoying.
At first I thought it was my soundcards latency, but disproved this by disconnecing all inputs and outputs on my kp3 and plugged my headphones into the kp3 and used the synth and drum channels.
It is as though there is a constant fx release.
How can I stop this or is my kp3 borked?
could it be the software?
thanks

hi, have the same problem,
So , started browsing the forums to find answers, none so far, reïnstalled OS, nothing...
the slider isn't broken though, that's the strange part. it still works to control volume on samples.
holding shift and moving the slider about doesn't result in anything, it's as if the fx release is gone completely deaf for te commands of the slider...
one other thing i'd like to try is to reset to fatory settings, but i haven't quite figured out how to do so...

The only way to get rid of the delay is holding the SHIFT button and sliding the FX RELEASE all the way down.
After this you have to push the WRITE button twice to save it to this patch...else the same amount of delay will be there again the next time when you startup your KP3.
Like it says in the manual :
What is FX RELEASE?
Making the transition from a very hardedge effect back to the original unaffected signal can often times be very abrupt or sudden.
With FX RELEASE, the moment you take your hand off the touch pad (i.e.,
the moment you turn off the effect), a delay effect synchronized to the current BPM will be applied, and will then gradually diminish.

I have found recently that I get the same problem when I use different external equipment with the Kp3.
For example, plugged directly into speakers/headphones its fine,
however on some certain occasions if i plug into a mixing desk there is a delay on all effects, meaning i can't use the drum loop in time
