Korguser.net Registration Difficulties
Hi Folks,
I just purchased a new Oasys 76 a couple of days ago. It's been several years in the making, but was certainly worth the wait. This baby is indeed "The Bomb". However.......
I seem to be having a hard time registering myself and my new O at Korguser.net.
I fill out the "New User Registration" form, click "Next", fill out the "Register Product" form, click "Next", and am taken to a blank Webpage which says "Direct access to this URL is not allowed". If I open the website in a new window and try to do a Login, I'm told that my email address and/or password are incorrect, so obviously none of my "New User Registration" information has been input to this point in time.
I feel like I'm just going around in circles on this one, and would sure appreciate any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong; or is this possibly a glitch in the website itself?
Thanks for your time, and my apologies for my first post here being a problem child. Wow, what a great keyboard!

Korg Canada should be able to help you directly; it's often good to talk in real-time, if possible, rather than through an intermediary. I'm sure they'll get it sorted out quickly!dean33 wrote:Hi Dan,
Thanks for the info and for your prompt reply. I kind of wondered earlier in the day if it was a Korg Canada issue. My Oasys salesman has tech support phone numbers that I'm not necessarily privy to, so I'm sure we'll get it resolved tomorrow.
Thanks once again for your help.
Best regards,
Dan

Hi Folks,
Thanks for all of your comments, however, I believe that Dan has already pointed me in the right direction. My browser works just fine, and, as noted in my little ID box, my location is Canada, so I have to deal with Korg Canada, not Korg UK.
I suspect that this is some sort of Security feature whereby Korg Canada must notify Korguser.net that this specific S/N Oasys has been registered in the country to which it was originally shipped, and was actually sold to a legitimate customer, as opposed to having been acquired by someone more nefarious. (There's a post on this forum already regarding someone who had their O stolen a while ago, so who knows who might be trying to register one.)
In any event, it's Friday afternoon here, so this will have to be resolved on Monday. In the meantime, I've already got enough features with OS 1.1 to keep me busy for a long, long time, even without any OS updates, etc.
Thanks once again for all of your comments.
