I've got the exact same foot pedal, it's worse when I use certain presets like the grungey guitar sounds. And it's a definite wail!

This was hooked up to my surround sound system as I was using it through the K-Pro, not sure if it would have been the same through my dedicated guitar amp! Might try that tomorrow, bit late now as it might wake the neighbours if it decides to wail!

Glad you are loving the K-Pro tho'.

Maybe - try it through headphones as that should cut out any feedback, also move away from your amp. Certain guitar sounds (typically those with high preamp gain) will make hum and feedback more likely. Try the headphone out from the KPro rather than taking line out to an amp.

turn it off (or do you mean the glowing where you press the pad glow)

Sadly I need the LEDs for positional guidance - as the XY pad is bigger than the K1, you have more margin for error when you start playing. It does help to have the LEDs showing where you might want to start playing a phrase, but the moving patterns are annoying and distracting when trying to play the KPro properly. I'll play with the LED settings and see what options there are. I'm sure I'll get more used to it the more I play it.

Here's another good thing about the KPro - you can change the number of notes in a program, so you can force the sound to range between between 1 to 4 octaves regardless of how it was prgrammed. So that allows you to get more precision on some sounds for precise riffs, or a wider sweep if you want to do some crazy XY pad finger action.

"Audio loops are automatically synced to the Kaossilator's tempo, making it easy to timestretch external sounds to match your synthesized parts."

What does this mean?

Well, at the rate Korg is pushing back the release of this..

We'll be ready for Kaossilator Pro II. Every time I check the status online, they keep pushing the expected date back another few weeks. I wonder if I'll ever get my hands on this long-awaited gadget. Now I regret selling my Tenori-On.
