is there a quick way to restore factory presets?

Post by paulmpianist »

I bought mine used. I like the PA80 better so far. Except I like the memory chip over the floppy drive of the PA80. However. I backed over the PA80 a year or so ago and the floppy and a couple of keys got smashed. Its pretty heavy duty though. I have it programmed the way i want.
Is there no way to use a standard flash chip to transfer the styles from the PA80 to the PA500.
I'm not sure I like the PA500 yet. Its not loud enough. And I like the pre-amps on the PA80.
One more problem there... when I have the pre-amps opened up wide it must be heating something up inside because the speakers quit. Then I let it cool off and yeah.. its cool then!!!

I bought my PA80 in 2000. I made it work very hard. Its a great keyboard.

listen to my cool song.
