Hello everyone.

It's with great pleasure that I can now announce the release of LSCP Gen v 1.0 for all Lionstracs products (OS 4.2 onwards).

For those who haven't been following the development, LSCP Gen is a program that allows you to manage and create large libraries of sounds for Lionstracs keyboard. The program supports drag and drop between different libraries and countless other features that automate tasks and generates system files for Lionstracs products.

Video tutorials on how to use the program will be available in the next few days as well as tips and tricks on getting the most from the program.

LSCP Gen is freeware software written by me James Tubbritt of IA-Studio's (www.irishacts.com) for all Lionstracs end users.

Compatibility, WinXP, Vista and Win7 (32 and 64bit OS supported and tested)
LSCP Gen also runs under Wine / Linux on Lionstracs products. Note.... Vista and Win7 users, please run LSCP Gen with Administrator privileges as the LSCP files written by the application are exported to C:\

ATOM Processors (Netbooks) also tested down as far as 1.3Ghz 1GB RAM, XP.

Those who are running the beta version, please do NOT uninstall your beta copy if you have content added you wish to keep. Please just install release 1.0 as a new progam and if you make yourself known to me, I can give you details on how to port your data from a beta version over into the final release version.

This release is NOT an update patch for beta versions.

Hi all.
LSCP Gen is now 100% compatible with the Lionstracs OS.

This is not an update patch, this is a replacement for the original program so you will have to uninstall the old version before installing this one. I won't be issuing an update patch for the old version because the new version 2 has been completely been rewritten and this is the final version of the program going forward from now on.

Sorry about that. This week has been mental here. I've had to send my iPhone back to apple for a replacement so I've not had mobile email. I started a new job, and I've been writing the program you see above day and night here.

Hi everyone.
An update patch for LSCP Gen has just been released. All LSCP Gen users are strongly recommended to install this update patch.

You can download the patch HERE

Update Instructions.
1: Run LSCP Gen.
2: Click on “File”
3: Click on “Update Database”
4: Select the file “update-2.01.db”
5: Press “OPEN”.
6: You are asked if you are sure you wish to update. Select “Yes”.

The update process now starts. This can take upwards of 2 minutes to complete and is fully automated. During this time please do not touch your PC. When the update has completed a message will be displayed on your screen.

Bug fixes.
1: When writing a LSCP File for a Giga Library, sometimes the file contains errors for drum kit sounds. This has now been fixed for new sounds being added to the program.

If you have experienced and still are experiencing this problem with a sample library you added prior to this update, simply select the first sound in the library and using the arrow down key on your computer keyboard go to the next sound. Repeat this process until you get to the last sound displayed on the screen. The simple act of selecting the sound will correct any errors. Please don't go too quickly when pressing the arrow down key. Pressing it twice per second is fast enough. Any quicker than that and you will not give LSCP Gen enough time to scan and correct the error for the sound selected.

2: When printing out a list of Giga sounds the contents where not displayed correctly on your printout. This is now fixed.

Updates.
1: This patch contains thousands of new sounds. Installing it will update your database.
2: LSCP Gen now works faster and writes files faster.
3: Now supports up to 4TB of data making it totally future proof.
