kaossilator: 16-beat oddity

Post by axd »

When working in 16-beat mode, why is there a "major breakdown" when attempting smaller loops: when going back to 16b, the whole recording is mashed up :-(

(yes I know it's not a supported feature... but I lost an entire night's work when playing with the smaller beats...)

I think you have to look at this as another hidden feature
and avoid it if you don't want things f'ed up good in a somewhat, sort of controlled fashion. :( 8)

When in that mode, all of your movements of the loop length get recorded too.
This allows for recording "glitches" into the loop but isn't very useful if you want to switch to shorter loop lengths and then return to 16 beats without change.
