If I record loops in my K Pro the volume level is almost identical to what I was originally playing the pad with.
If I record the same sound into the KP3 and attempt to sample it the volume is about 1/2. It makes no difference if I'm running effects or not. And it makes no sense because I'm listening to the headphones out on the KP3. So the signal is there. It's just that the recorder seems to record with have the volume. I checked the levels on the pad and they are at 100%.
Any ideas why this can occur?
KP3 Sample Volume is very low.....Why?

Ok damn...This was easy. I was only using the pad level tool and not the level slider. For some reason I though the level slider was only used for FX release but it is in fact the main sample playback level. The internal is really for controlling individual levels when needed.
Thanks for the help!

The level fader was going to be my next suggestion.
First - good strong input signal, then sample it, then control the playback level with the fader.
The Level fader controls the overall sample playback level. If you hit [shift] [sample pad], then you get an individual level mixer on the XY pad for each sample. This is really useful to fade in/out various loops to layer a song, instead of just cutting in/out the samples with the pads.
