hence the mournful covers, I presume...

By the way; i have a VERY SERIOUS question for you all:

1) who cleans your studio?

If it is (as it's in my case) a cleaning service,

2) do you allow them to clean or, at least, dust clean, the keyboards outboards and mixer?

Are they allowed to move cables?

Any experience/anecdote/recommendation?

3) or do you clean your stuff yourselves?

4) or do you just live in the filth?

In my town, a week withour cleaning and dusting means 2 mm of dust on any surface (cables, etc)

COVERING the keyboard is not enough. Floor must be cleaned, on the floor you've got pedals and cables etc.

thx in advance for sharing.

When my equipment is not in use, I keep it powered off and there's always a dust-cover on my stuff when I'm not playing it.

I also keep one of those dry swiffer dusters around and give it a once over just before putting the dust covers back on.

Strangers in my studio? No way. :)

I clean myself.

Fortunately, my home studio is quite sheltered. It's enough to clean 2-3 times a month - or occasionally. It depends on usage.
