RH2 vs RH3 keybeds?

Post by Davidb »

Hi pals.
A friend asked me this, so I pass it to you.

For those of you who had the opportunity to play both keybeds:
Is there any noticeable difference between RH2 and RH3 keys you cpuld tell about?

Also, which is better built, in your oppinio? I´ve heard RH3 is softer and feels a little less "piano touch" compared to RH2.

Coluld anybody in the know elaborate more about this subjet?

I've played Oasys with RH2 and SV1 with RH3. I prefer the SV1 keyboard, which just seems easier to play, and more natural, somehow.

David - I've played both. RH3 is definitely slightly softer and smoother and so ever so slightly less piano-like. Never the less, it is a beautiful keyboard action, even for piano sounds. It for friend is looking for it for piano he n worry and won't be disappointed - it in no way betrays playing piano instrument / programs.

Thanx Kevin.

If I understand you and Jg:: correctly, It seems the RH3 is easier to perform with, whereas the RH2 is more close to a piano keyboard in texture, right?.

Thanx again for your review, fellow. :)

I hope to read more comments, but quoting you both, I´ll past your thoughts to my pal and I think he will purchase a Korg SV1 in the end, as it was his idea to do so.
Regards.
