Suggestion?

Post by bionicle »

Hi, I’m looking for some suggestions.

I’m thinking about purchasing an electribe but am unsure what model might be best suited to complement my current gear.

I’d like to use the electribe as a Drum machinebut also for its other benefits depending on what model, I already have an mkxl and kaos pro.

the esx seems to conflict alittle with my kp, while the emx seems to conflict somewhat with my mkxl if i understand what ive read so far.

the esx seems my first choice but some input would be appreciated

Thanks

Well since you already have two synths, I would recommend a sampling electribe, the ES-1, ES-1 mkII or ESX-1. They offer a different type of music production than synths and will let you add a variety of drum kits. Just my thought :D

Yes it has to be the ESX You can sample any drum in the world and have it play. You are restricted on the EMX to the drums that come with it. All the other Electribes with drums wont let you save patterns with parts muted- so you get the whole lot when you call them up

Good choice, I use one too! There's an electribe-forum also set up that you might want to check out too :)
