Korg ER-1 - modifying part sounds across an entire song

Post by Matt Deep »

If you want the same part sounds across an entire song, is the only way to achieve this through copying the parts to each individual pattern? Is there any way to use the same set of sounds for an entire song?

Thanks.

You should start with one pattern with the sounds you want to use, and create the rest of the patterns from that pattern. Then you arrange the song.

Whats you might be able to do is map out your tweeks usuing the "original value" button and apply that "recipe" to other sounds on other patterns to get that sound crossed over.

This is especially helpful if you have a sound you like on P1 but want it on P4 (ect) on another patern. I have done this before

Or else do like the guy before me said and copy your pattern through out a few patern slots and progress the tweeks in each pattern as follows
