I had faliure to boot and no usb device was recoginezed to reinstall OS. It whent to the repair center and it cameback working flawlessly.

And how long did it take to get the Kronos back in your hands??

Honestly about a month and half.

Jasmire i certanly hope it gets done faster. But fear not your machine will return better and meaner (you can even take the oportunity and ask the repair guy to upgrade your ram) cost wise you will save money... My fingers are crossed for you...

Yesterday a German user reported that his Kronos died during startup the same way and he couldn't get it to start any more.

Meanwhile there are definitely enough startup failures out there to make this issue a high emergency case with top priority for Korg: if this disease spreads and we see more reports like this, and no fast OS fix curing that, the reliability reputation of the Kronos will be at zero in no time.

I think it is high time to chime in, comment and say a word about Korg solving that issue!
