Ha forgot to ask about the editor, how ever have determined my board defiantly has issues that need to be taken care of. They're board is set to 0db on res damper key settings. I hear no whooshing noise on the damper pedal, keys have natural sounds. Mine is all set to -25db to get rid of my major backround noises. As well as the hissing in my tracks I complained about earlier. So I gotta send it in to get fixed making them replace Keybed as well hopefully. I will go back and ask again wtf is the editor for ya guys and get response on film.

Ohh forgot to mention I have been told by 2 diffrent korg guys, two diffrent stories about the korg. First guy said the damper noise issue was fixed in os 1.5, the next guy said that issues was not in os 1.5 as it was never a issue to begin. Roland telling diffrent stories, I will have to talk to a few More to get diffrent stories about the Kronos.

I would love to have some kind of unified information regarding the Rh3 issue.
Thanks Night Spirit

So does that mean that 100% of existing 73s and 88s have potentially faulty keybeds? If they are changing the design for all RH3s, it would seem that all RH3s released before the fix should be updated.

Why should they if their's work as well as mine?

I would immediately contact Korg, if this status would change to worse, and have it replaced by guarantee, but why should I, as long as all is working well here?

Maybe. But since we don't know what causes the problem who knows? My friend who got one of the very first has absolutely no problems. For all we know it's some kind of shipping or assembly problem - or temperature problem.

Let's wait till some people get the fix and see how it is. It seems like now that there's a fix coming - a number of people want to still keep beating this thing down. Why are people questioning every line, every word? No wonder they don't want to say anything - some of you are brutal.

Another thing about the Editor - which pertains to this thread. The only thing that worries me about the Kronos is that it's a moving target. So lets say that yes, the editor was not ready for version 1.0 - I assume that's why it wasn't released.

Now there are new sounds, new features, more banks etc... Now the editor needs to be retooled to handle the new parameters etc... I would assume that would only delay the release. Not to mention any type of bugs introduced which might make the editor out of sync with the actual state of the Kronos. This is not a trivial task - let alone be able to test it.

The only reason for all the confusion is because Korg chooses to be less than candid on the matter. Have you been reading the RH3 thread? If so, you would know why I am asking this. It isn't about dissecting. It is about making informed choices, but not being able to do so because of Korg's unwillingness to share information.

I absolutely agree on this.
Their whole communication concerning keybed, editor and other things has really been massively substandard.

You probably shouldn't, but if you find out that a new RH3 component is developed and will be on all boards going forward, aren't you interested in why yours doesn't need it? The problem is we have no information to make this assessment. For some people the problem developed after time. What happens if yours develops the problem after the warranty period. What if it could have been prevented by getting the updated RH3?

Well then people just have to wait. Someone's getting theirs done very soon. Lets see what happens.
