but I have never seen a known problem handled like this.
yeah. We certainly have been seeing new things lately for sure. About the only situation similar to this would be when Roland had a "glue" problem with the JD-800. Anyone remember how that was handled? I know my friend had to get the entire keybed replaced. It may be possible that what may happen in the future is some type of organized recall by Korg for all of the older keybeds?

I have the 88 no issue with Keybed so no fix for me, my issue is something completly diffrent not pertaining to the Keybed. Now for the news on the target date for the editer and its end of march, which means likely may. But I do have some good news on a new piano sound. Just about to release on the korg page the Austrian acoustic grand. They just loaded the new sound when I went to get the editer information and omfg is it beautiful. They said sound will be released very soon and all I can say is BONER ACHEIVED

Target release editor March!!!!! come on this is moving the goal posts once again, Korg you need to start telling us why it isn't out, what exactly doesn't work, I'm not trusting of this statement as we have had so many from before , mainly available now!!! then changed to soon!!!! and now March target!!!!!! what do we do in March when it doesn't arrive????

anything else happening with the SV-1

Post by RogerL »

Can you ask them if there are any other plans for the SV-1? other then the annoucement today for a limited run of an all black and a reverse key color keyboard? Very disappointing to me since neither of these purely cosmetic changes means anything.

What about the new keyboard for the SV-1? new piano sounds? anything new coming or are we just left hanging with technology now almost 3 years old. Why did they do a big rebate ending just before NAMM? just to introduce these two cosmetic changed boards?

Or is the SV-1 just left to die away while everything goes into the Kronos. I love the SV-1 concept, a simple design and play keyboard with great sounds for those of us who like to play and dont like to program.

Oh well, still three more days for an SV-1 miracle.

I'm glad someone here is interested in the new synths @ NAMM. I posted pix and info about the Sledge and the two new Casio's in the forum's Latest News section NAMM thread which so far has generated little interest. Oh well.

:-k
In my opinion this sledge with pulse2 and arturia is one of the few interesting things presented at namm, I'm a little bit disappointed with korg .... but this is another story

I don't suppose you got the chance to see Mark Tremonti over at the PRS stand did you? He plays the guitar like no one I have ever seen and I'm not ashamed to admit that he's my hero! lol

No sorry guys not had a chance to make my rounds to the booth's, Korg was right by me so was able to stop by real fast. I will be doing my rounds tomorrow to all the other company's. And today I will be doing more digging on Korg as to wtf happened with the RH3 keybed, and get a promise on film they will fix it for all users "EVEN AFTER" the warranty period so we got some proof and evidence.
