MS2000R sound output cracking up / crackling/ static

Has anyone heard of this issue before with the MS2000R... the sound has a crackling over the output, no matter which output you use.
Any ideas what's causing it or how to look into fixing it?

Hi,

Since two days now, my Ms2000 gives pops&cracks when hitting a key, on all audio outputs, and even a few seconds after releasing the key. I know this is an old post, but did you solved the problem ?

I think the MS2000 outputs often go bad. My L out went bad. Just use the headphone out instead. I use a cable that goes from 1/4" stereo headphone jack, to both L and R mono 1/4" jacks. If you still need headphone too, then just put a splitter on the headphone out.

Thank you for your post, but as I've mentioned, the problem is present on all audio outputs, and that includes the headphones output. So the problem must be somewhere on the final section of the signal path...
