Curious about Tony Banks - Genesis
I saw a Genesis consert on Palladia last night. I could clearly see that Tony Banks was using a Wavestation and an Oasys. Coul not identify the large keyboard under the wavestation. Just curious, does anyone know what it is?

There is a thread about this over in Oasys-land - http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... sc&start=0
If it is the When in Rome concert, it was a Roland A90 controller.

Yes, A90 is correct.midiman wrote:There is a thread about this over in Oasys-land - http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... sc&start=0

Thanks - Thats makes sense because the mfg. name was covered so I thought it probably was either a Roland or Yamaha; he has used Yamaha controlers in the past. I have heard a lot about the A90, it must be pretty good.

I saw him with Yes in New Orleans, probably the late 90's. He was using 2 Yamaha controllers, I believe 76 note semi-weighted - can't remember the model, but they were popular back then.

Tony Banks NEVER played with YES Tony KAYE did. The Roland A90 is still one of the best controller keyboards ever made for live performance 4 MIDI outs make it very useful. I wouldn't let mine go.
