I'm new here and just got a new Kronos X61 and I'm looking for recommendations for a very lightweight padded soft case. This is only for occasional transport and I will always be handling it myself -- so I want something very light weight due to my back problems.
Anyone using something like that?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Codd12,
with your back problems it´d be best to get a softcase with backstraps like the red ones from Clavia/Nord: http://www.thomann.de/de/clavia_nord_so ... ys_iii.htm .
Unfortunately these bags are not deep enough...
Regards
Tim

I'm using a Gator Semi Soft sided 61 key case with wheels. I bought it on Amazon where it's listed as "Gator 61 Note Lightweight Keyboard Case (GK-61)".
It's decently light weight, it has wheels to move easily, the straps inside are large and padded and hold the Kronos 61 nicely in place. It has an extending handle like a roll on suitcase.
It ran about $129 USD. I load it on edge in the car and don't put anything on top of it as it has a soft padded top and I would not want anything pressing on the joystick or vector joystick. I use it to go to small gigs where I am setting up my own equipment and practices, etc. This serves me very well.

I have been very pleased with this case for my 73:

I assume the 61 key version would be just as good.
