hey guys, i've just got a EMX and learning how to use it.
but the problem is that..
synth sound is distorted and weird aftrer using an hour. (sounds like sticked heavy bass although i choosed sine, saw, even piano with PCM)
I checked so many times for tweaking all knobs 1000 times to find right sounds.
but after exhausted, i just turned off and read manual carefully.
a couple of hours later, turned it on again, and it's working
this is not only one time like this but working wrong again later.
is anybody know this kind of problem??
i found one guy on googling, who has this problem but there was no answer.
do i have to ask service?
hope to hear u guys voice, and i will appreciate.
thanks

thanks for ur reply.
well.. i figured out real problem!!
the problem is STEP KEYS !!
i turned PART EDIT -> OUTBUS to check, and i pushed the SYNTH PART Key, the sounds like the same as i edited and programed sound.
but when i pushed STEP KEY, it's like crashed bass sound as the problem before.
so i think the problem is STEP KEY!!
why is it like this???
is there any ways to solve it??

This sounds like a very strange issue. It may be the same issue as the user detailed above, and its when you push the step key that the presses the 2 boards and shorts at the point just under the step key.
Also if the distortion and mess are only coming from one channel like only the left or right, then one of your valves may have blown and need replaced. That would be a good time then to upgrade to better valves anyway.
