which model electribe is it? SD version?

my smart media EMX PSU got fried by lightning and I got an original Korg replacement part including delivery for less than a third of that... and I'm on the arse-end of the world in South Africa so I really cant understand how they could ever justify that price.

get a second opinion!

I wouldn't trust a non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer ie Korg) adaptor to power my electribes.

EDIT: It may not even be a problem with the power adaptor. If possible, test your unit with someone elses adaptor.. and test your adaptor in someone elses electribe.
