It´s nice to hear you are still able to perform with your Kronos. Wish you all the best.

Now for the critical part: Why should anyone thank Korg for selling a solution that was already part of M3 and Oasys and was ripped out just to make Kronos a bit cheaper?

(Since Sharp did not close my account I could not resist commenting. That´s the positive train of thought on this forum: Always thank Korg on your knees for what they did for us. Even if they sell us the same thing again in a sometimes inferior quality (=nanoPad2). It´s weird.
Likewise the "reset controls" button is now on the left of the encoders. It was above the buttons that you want to use it on, at least on the M3. Another inferior solution to a problem that was already solved. I need now both hands to reset the controls.
I still think they should invest some time and money to make one machine from M3 and Kronos instead of two divergent lines.)

Hope you get a complete recovery. My dad had a couple of TIAs and though it took a while, he got his control back like 95 percent eventually! (he played piano too)

My hat's off to you, Wes. Many people in your situation would have just cancelled the gigs, but you found a way to make it happen with some creative use of technology. Very inspiring!

Thanks everyone. Your thoughts are appreciated. Regarding my hand, I'm heartbroken, but determined. So far it's been paying off though. Every week gets better!

And Sax, how we love to crash a "party" don't we? I'm having trouble seeing how the nanopad2 is inferior when it's DOUBLE the physical pads and FOUR TIMES the pads that are ALWAYS available if you use scene on the nanopad. Since I like to have percussion and fx samples ALWAYS available, that's good news for me. Oh and we get a KAOSS like X/Y pad just like the M3. So we kinda got the best of BOTH! Without having to force it on those that would never use it.

Knobs. Did I mention knobs? The M3 never had any. Or a VJS for that matter. The Oasys and Kronos have ones DEDICATED to the task. Unless that switching modes thing back and forth is your thing....

On the Oasys, the "reset controls" button was on the opposite side of the screen. Now it's moved over within "one hand reach" like the M3 of the KNOBS. If your hand's not that big (hey, it's OK fella), we're talking a split second here.

If I WERE to complain, I would have preferred a master Volume Slider instead of a knob. Though I'm not. We can all see you've got the "complaining" covered.

Nothing is perfect for everyone, but I think the majority of the design "compromises" to bring the Kronos to market where well thought out with the greatest accessibility/expandability.
