Hi, I'm Doug. I just pre-ordered the Volca Bass, Beat and Keys. (I can hear my wife now... "you bought what!!!1)

I am getting back into keyboards after a 35 year break. I had a Moog "D" and a Fender keyboard. I got rid of them in 78, as I needed to avoid a imperial entanglement.

Welcome to the forums! Congrats on the [forthcoming] purchases- I was looking at the bass and beat, personally.

"imperial entanglement"? Was the death star after you? :P

Cheers and welcome aboard! Oh, and welcome back to synths (you know they missed you! :) )

Hey Doug,
Welcome back to playing keyboards, I myself took a 5 year hiatus from playing.
My advice is either hide the keyboard really well and get a good pair of headphones or just let her know about them and be prepared to buy her something expensive once you paid them off. Good Luck and hope to see you around the forums.
