Korg Kronos bounce to disk time limit

Is it possible to bounce sequencer tracks that are longer than 5 minutes to disk? It won't let me change the sample time regardless of the size of drive connected. Or is there a better way to do this?

Seems like you're saving to RAM instead of Disk. Read this thread: Taking song from Seq mode and make it a Wav.

And make sure you select save to disk, instead of RAM

No, I was doing it correctly to a thumb drive. When it wouldn't let me increase the time I tried a larger capacity thumb drive. It didn't make a difference, and the wav files created were nowhere near the capacity of the drive.

Any other thoughts? The link you sent had a graphic that also showed the sample time at 4 min 59.999 secs, which is where I'm stuck.

Look carefully, the screenshot shows the "Save to ram" state, hence the 4.59.99999)

Go to the SEQ mode.
2. Select the Audio In / Sampling tab.
- Sampling Setup: Trigger = Sequencer START SW
- Sampling Setup: Save To = DISK
- Sampling Setup: Mode = STEREO
- Sampling Setup: Sample Time = e.g.: 5 min

That is what I did, but it will not let me select the minute field at all, only the seconds.

There are two places where disk has to be set..

"Sample to Disk:" 16 bit
"Save to:" ...

Power cycling the Kronos seems to have fixed the problem. But I'd sure like to know what caused it.

Well there's a max file/path name length so if your existing song is in a couple of subfolders the system may have trouble writing the audio files to disk.
