I have been trying to find a way to map a different key for samples other than the default C2 for the first sample (or other samples for that matter) When I create the spot for the sample to reside it is always C2. Then the next one is always C#2. I can make it a lower key for the assignment but can't make it whatever key I want. Is this behavior stuck into the system or is there a way to actually make the assignment to the key that I want?
I then create a program from the multisample but the key assignment seems to be stuck as it is. Then I create a combi using that program and still the assignment is the same. There must be a way to put the sample on any key of the keyboard as desired. I must be missing something in the manual but I have really been looking for it.

thanks Geo
I went thru the omnisphere tutorial on youtube and remember where he said the first thing was to delete the multisample to "make room" for the multisample you were about to add which didn't make sense to me at the time because I was creating a multisample from scratch so there shouldn't be any samples in there, right? but I tried that because I was out of options. I was on a different screen when I deleted the multisample and wound up taking one out that I needed ! So I thought that wasn't what I was supposed to do.
I need to go through step by step and use that function at the right screen to get this to work. The other thing I wound up doing was having all the samples in the multisample from the other programs that I was working on appended to the new multisample by mistake. So each new multisample was growing in size with all these unneeded samples contained within.
Now I will need to find a way to discover which samples are needed in each multisample so that I can edit every multisample and remove the unnecessary samples. I don't think there is an easy way to do this on the Kronos.
Thanks for the help. I will try these things.

deleting multisample
Yes you were correct. When I delete the multisample I am able to then change the assigned key to whatever key I wanted. I still don't totally understand it because when I delete it in the sample mode, it automatically puts in a stereo blank multisample. If I delete that, it just puts another one in there. But I can change the keys to assign on any of those. It must need to have a multisample in there at all times for some reason ? I think it should let me decide which multisample to load in there so I will not have the confusion of several available at the same time.
